Weekly Watercolour Workshops for Beginners

Workshops are in half-termly blocks. Next block: 2nd June to 8th July 2025 (6 weeks). Book one or more workshop at a time, or pre-book 6 upfront for a £20 discount.

This series of workshops aims to guide you through the basic principles and techniques of watercolour painting. You’ll begin by learning about materials and then move onto a series of exercises which will teach you the basic watercolour techniques, from laying down a wash to building up layers of colour. By the end of each lesson you will take home at least one painting that demonstrates a particular watercolour technique.

With a relaxed and friendly approach, I will demonstrate for you and support you through the practical exercises, especially designed to help develop your skills and confidence in this exciting and beautiful medium.
