Weekly Life Drawing Classes for Beginners

Classes are in half-termly blocks. Next block: 5th November to 17 December 2024 (7 weeks). Book one or more class at a time, or purchase 7 classes upfront for a £25 discount.

These tutored classes are aimed at beginners to life drawing and also to those who may feel a little rusty and want to ease back into it. Topics such as construction of the figure, line, tone, foreshortening, and colour will be explored, but the focus is always on connecting to the process of looking and drawing, rather than on the outcome. With all resources included, you'll be encouraged to use new, perhaps unfamiliar media, and to also experiment with mark-making. 

With a relaxed and friendly teaching style, I demonstrate techniques to the group and offer one-to-one help too. This approach aims to support you in progressing your figure drawing skills, as well as help build your confidence in your own creative process.
